1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or sell personal data on our own servers. BriefAlpha.com is a client-side application — market data is fetched directly from third-party APIs by your browser.

The only personal information we may have collected is your email address, submitted voluntarily via an opt-in newsletter signup form. The newsletter sign-up form is not currently active on the Site. Any email addresses previously submitted are retained by Formspree, Inc., our email processing service, in accordance with their privacy policy — we do not receive or store them on BriefAlpha.com servers. If you believe your email address is on file and wish to have it removed, please visit our Unsubscribe page or contact us at privacy@briefalpha.com.

2. How We Use Information

Email addresses previously collected through our now-inactive newsletter opt-in were used solely for the purpose of delivering market briefing emails to subscribers who requested them. We do not use email addresses for any other purpose.

We never sell, rent, share, or transfer your email address to any third party, except to Formspree as the email service processor, subject to their privacy policy.

4. Cookies

BriefAlpha.com does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies of any kind.

We use only essential technical browser storage (such as in-memory caching via JavaScript) to improve the performance of market data loading. This data is temporary, stored only in your browser's active session memory, and is not transmitted to any server.

Third-party services embedded in this site (such as Google Fonts) may set their own cookies in accordance with their privacy policies.

5. GDPR Rights (EU Residents)

If you are a resident of the European Union or European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including:

  • The right to access personal data we hold about you
  • The right to rectification of inaccurate data
  • The right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")

6A. UK GDPR Rights (UK Residents)

If you are a resident of the United Kingdom, you have rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, including the same rights as listed under Section 5 (EU GDPR) above. The UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is the supervisory authority for UK data protection matters.

6B. Brazilian & Canadian Privacy Rights

Brazil (LGPD): If you are a resident of Brazil, you have rights under Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), including the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and the right to know about data sharing. Contact us at privacy@briefalpha.com to exercise these rights.

Canada (PIPEDA / Law 25): If you are a resident of Canada, you have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, if in Québec, under Law 25 (Bill 64). 7. Children's Privacy

BriefAlpha.com is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@briefalpha.com and we will take steps to delete it.

8. Data Retention

We do not store personal data on BriefAlpha.com servers. Any email addresses previously submitted via our opt-in newsletter form are retained by Formspree according to their data retention policy and their original intended use (delivering market briefings). New sign-ups are not currently being accepted.

You may unsubscribe from email communications at any time by visiting our Unsubscribe page, or by contacting us at contact@briefalpha.com. Unsubscribe requests are processed within 10 business days as required by CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR.
